Phynd Technologies Announces Continued Company Growth

Amplifying the benefits of accurate provider data across healthcare systems and clinically integrated networks.

DALLAS, May 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Phynd Technologies continues leading the charge to simplify healthcare provider data management by announcing the following two large healthcare systems that will begin using the Phynd Enterprise Provider Data Management (EPDM) solution to manage and improve the quality of their provider data.

Prime Healthcare (Ontario, CA) will use Phynd EPDM to manage more than 32,000 providers. The solution will be integrated to their Epic electronic health record (EHR) and Cactus credentialing systems and will be implemented in all 44 of their hospitals across 14 states.

The University of Michigan Health System (Ann Arbor, MI), one of the largest healthcare complexes in the world, will also use Phynd EPDM to manage more than 67,000 providers across their five hospitals, including the University of Michigan Medical Center main campus as well as their primary and specialty care centers. It will also be integrated to their Epic and Cactus systems.

Phynd EPDM will enable each healthcare system to improve their financial results, clinical outcomes, staff productivity and regulatory compliance by providing a secure, enterprise IT system to gather, manage, and share critical data about the licensed providers that care for their patients.

"Provider data sits at the core of all hospital operations; however, it is an undermanaged and undervalued asset in health care," comments Tom White, Phynd CEO. "The Phynd EDPM solution enables our clients to improve care coordination, revenue cycle, and provider search for marketing purposes. Overall, our clients see increased productivity, improved top-line revenue and better preparation to succeed within the changing healthcare reimbursement landscape."

Phynd EPDM addresses a fundamental healthcare challenge: Hospital provider communities are constantly changing. In fact, 2.4% of all providers change addresses or other contact information every month and 30% change their hospital or practice-group affiliations every year1. Most organizations do not have the means to unify and centrally manage provider data and eliminate provider data silo's. The Phynd EPDM Platform provides this centralized management in a secure, work-flow driven, cloud-based platform.

The Phynd EPDM solution also includes Phynd A Doc, a SaaS application that enhances online referral management and provider outreach via external and internal 'Find A Physician' search sites. Phynd A Doc significantly improves the granularity, effectiveness and accuracy of online provider search by referring physicians and the patient community by enriching the search. curation, and display of client-specific provider data from Phynd EPDM.
