We believe that Texas and specifically Dallas is a great place to do business - that’s why we named our firm after the city. There is no state income tax in Texas and the carrying cost per employee is far lower than you will find in other, more well-known venture regions. As a city, Dallas is ranked third (behind New York and Houston) for the number of Fortune 500 companies it headquarters. What many do not realize is that Dallas also has a vibrant early stage technology community comprised of talented entrepreneurs and organizations that support them. At DVP, we are committed to enhancing this community through volunteering and partnering with local organizations.
